The concert has come and gone and it was awesome!! I believe there were many breakthroughs in people's lives from negative words spoken over them and now they will pick up their dreams and desires and walk in their destiny again!

The week of the concert, I woke up one morning and was singing that little song we used to sing as kids…"sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me".

The Lord laid on my heart to minister at the concert about how words can hurt us and will stop you from walking into your destiny. Prov 18:21, "death and life are in the power of our tongue". So during the song "Because of You", I really felt the power of God moving on the congregation because it deals with just that. But because of the love of Jesus, we don't have to live in those harsh, careless words spoken over us, we don't have to live in the past but move forward in the destiny that God has for us!

The band and the back up singers did an amazing job! Thanks guys for all your hard work in rehearsals! I want to thank everyone who came out! I pray you were all blessed!!

I am so excited the CD is done and out! God says He gives us our hearts desire and here is one in CD form. There are many funny things and touching moments that were made in the studio recording the CD. One touching moment I had mentioned in the credits was most memorable for me. The first day we started the vocals of the project, Ken Mary said "Let's pray over this before we start" which just set the tone for the CD and God's presence was there through out it all

One of the many funny moments came from "Word of God Speak" and the humor of Ken Mary and Jeff Zubeck. In the line, "…and in the quiet" from the song, they decided the word "quiet" needed to be pumped up vocally so they lowered the pitch of my voice on that word. So vocals sounded normal all the way up until the word "quiet" which became 'QUIET!" in a Zurg from "Toy Story" or Star Wars Darth Vader way! Quite a shock when listening to play back and not knowing that was gonna happen!

I'm really looking forward to the CD Release Weekend and Concert, August 20-21, here at Living Word singing songs from the CD and ministering. I hope to see you there!!
